The One Minute Millionaire

This is one of the best books I have read for years, and I’m only half way through it at the time of writing.

So what makes it so special?

It’s based on the concept of the Enlightened Millionaire. In other words, the more money you make, the more people you can employ, the more you can give to worthy causes, and the better the economy – so it’s perfect for those who believe, at a deep level, that money is not quite respectable.
It’s got two ideas running at the same time. On the left-hand pages, you discover how you need to think and what you need to do; while, on the right hand pages, the story of Michele unfolds: her husband has been killed in a car crash and her filthy rich in-laws have taken her children away and will not allow her access – in other words, they could afford the best lawyers and she couldn’t. By constructing it this way, the authors get both sides of your brain working together
The whole being so much greater than the sum of its parts means that your brain starts generating ideas very fast. I read one or two chapters, put the book down, and set up one idea. I then read a few more chapters and stopped to set the wheels for another idea in motion. A few chapters later, and the third idea will be up and running quite soon.
